I shot this video at the Houston 4th of July fireworks celebration from Waugh Rd and Memorial Drive. This clip is from the last few minutes of the show including the spectacular finally. There must have been ten thousand people around me and hundred thousand in and around downtown. The event was a success, festival goers had plenty to do including getting personal with some of NASCAR's most popular drivers and cars including Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s Budweiser Car, Tony Stewart's Home Depot car, Jimmie Johnson's Lowe's car, and Daytona 500 champion, Kevin Harvick's Shell car. Children stayed entertained with rides, games, face painting, jugglers and more in the H-E-B All American Kids Zone. Throughout the day there was exciting musical performances, karaoke and even young mariachi groups performing for kids. |
